Stunning website for Sepal

Sepal baby feeding bottleBulldog have been commissioned to design a website by Sepal - designers of a new baby feeding system.

Sepal, in conjunction with the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, have developed the baby bottle teat using exhaustive research in the way infants feed.

Extensive scientific modelling of the baby palette revealed flaws in the design of conventional bottle teats, causing baby to take in excess air while feeding, leading to wind and digestive discomfort.

Sepal went about rethinking the design, that has been in use for decades without change.  The teat was remodeled to conform more precisely to the shape of an infant's developing mouth.

Further research into the way liquid and air flow through the teat and bottle enabled Sepal to redesign the whole liquid transfer dynamics to successfully eliminate air intake to the stomach and enable baby to feed continuously without stopping to take in breath.

For this revolutionary approach to a problem that has not been tackled in generations, Sepal wanted a site that reflected the innovation.

The website was designed with a clean, modern, almost clinical look.  We built it on a fully responsive platform to allow visitors to get a full interactive experience on all devices - desktop, tablet and mobile.

We incorporated simple-to-use interactive elements such as a floating menu, animated slider, parallax scrolling, pop out contact form, imagemapping and modal lightboxes.

The result is a compact, responsive and informative site that gives site visitors a great user experience.

In the back end of the site, a summarised analytics component allows the client to view site traffic statistics at a glance drawn from the industry standard Google Analytics service.

The response from the client, The Royal Children's Hospital and from site visitors has been impressive, with a huge amount of traffic derived from a combined marketing strategy involving search engine optimisation and integrated social media marketing.
